Termites? How can I dispose of 2 small termite(?) ridden logs? Without creating a bigger problem.?

Two logs about 8-10 inces diameter and 2-3 ft long,when I started to move them, there's lots of little tiny bugs and litlle round holes all through and continuing into the ground. I want to get rid of them without migration to other unwanted parts of my property.
