What shoes should I wear? Makeup? Hair?

I have a dress for my friends grad. It's a deep magenta colour, with a sweetheart neckline and it comes at right about the knee. It cinches in at the waist and the bottom is flowy. I dont know what kind of heels i should wear with it. but i know for a fact i will not wear flats.. help?? i also need advice on makeup/hair
