Worried about my lip ring please help :(?

Okay so I got my lip pierced on the 24th of june, and around the bar my skin has kinda gotten hard. It weird. I think its just healing and its scar tissuse, but im worried :( I do not have the correct soap to clean it right now so Im using hydrogen peroxide and my piercer said thats okay, itll just make it heal slower. And of course Im using mouth wash. Can anyone tell me how long it will be until the swelling starts to go down and why it feel hard?
