Can i wear a this for prom im a guy?

My dates dress is magenta/fusia and shes wearing gold heels.. i bought a black tux and white tux shirt the one that has the lines down the middle of the shirt.. should i wear a pirple vest and fold tie.. or a gold bowtie and purple vest.. or what do u reccomend? Thank you
