CATS : ok this is an emergency?

we rescued a kitten named henry. When henry came to us he was 6 weeks old and covered in his own feces. When we brought him home he hid in the litterbox. He began using the litterbox and his feces smelled of death and were liquid. We took him to the vet and the vet felt around his intestinal area. Henry had a severe infection of worms that were not passing him but eating him from the inside out. We were given antibiotics and dewormer. He is now a happy healthy kitty and in a new home. You need to be careful taking in so many cats because of feline lukemia which is deadly. You should try deworming the cats and consulting a vet.
