Indoor plant lighting questions science 10 points?

ok i know that plants with green leaves need and absorbs red and blue light and reflects green light which it doesn't need. what if i only gave it red and blue light by using colour filters? will they grow better? What if i gave them a magenta light ( red and blue) will they geow better?
