Try searching tags like piano, music, or pictures of interest. Also try following people with similar interests to keep a constant flow of content in your news feed. The more you use Tumblr, the more addicted you'll get. Just start of by posting music and pictures and once you start following people and tags you'll be able to Reblog the stuff that they posted. Oh, and for your information, Tumblr law number one: Never speak of Tumblr. ;P
