Stepped on glass in the river?

Today me and my friend was swimming in the river and I hrt my foot...at first I thought I stepped on a pointy rock but about 2 hours later when I got out I noticed that it was cut...there was glass every where but we didn't notice till after we got out...when I got home I soaked it and washed it with soap but it is still very very soar...should I be worried...
