Without bleaching my hair, how long will it take for Splat hair dye to come out?

I don't particularly use Splat so I don't really know the fading rate. But if you use shampoo with sulfates and warm water it should fade pretty fast, especially on black hair. You will have a magenta-ish highlight for a while though...or maybe that's just what happened to me because I dyed black on white so it faded to grey then I dyed pink...So black probably wouldn't have such a vibrant effect for that long.If you want a pink tint for just a day use a spray-on color.And no, without bleach neither Splat dye or spray-on dye will harm your hair. The warm water however, might.

English bulldog question?

I have a Female English bulldog I bought a couple months ago. She is a little over a year and Mostly all white. I give her baths about once a week with some awesome dog shampoo I get from Petsmart. So, about 3 weeks ago i was sitting on the floor in my room eating. Several times i noticed something in the corner of my eye black, moving fast. It came out and I realized it was a mouse. i freaked! did not catch it that night. The following day, I tore my room apart cleaning EVERYTHING and made it smell good with Murphy's oil soap. I found mouse droppings in a spot the mouse ran last night (under a dresser drawer) and I washed my sheets with extra fabric softeners. I found no mouse holes anywhere. I set 2 traps in my room, 3 in the kitchen, and 3 in the garage. I caught a total of 5 -_-. The other 3 traps are still laid out, I haven't seen or caught anymore since, and I've been spraying peppermint oil all over the house and my room. Canon Pixma Pro9000 Color Is Driving Me Crazy! Why are my pictures red?

I purchased a Canon Pixma Pro9000 printer so I could print some of my own pictures on nice paper and frame them. I installed the software, hooked up the printer and begun printing. However, all of my pictures are coming out way too red. In addition the images are not very sharp but I know they are much more sharper than they are coming out on the Pro9000 because I have had them printed at standard photo labs. I have read tons of write ups on the web about others having the same issue, but I can't find a solution to the problem. I have replaced the ink, cleaned the printer heads, purchased nice paper, installed Canon Easyphoto, changed the print settings that other reported would help...but nothing works. They images still come out really soft, the colors not do great and they photos are way way too read. The printer is also burning through the magenta since it is over printing this color. I have tried printing through both, Elements 9 as well as Canon Easyphoto. They look the same. Where I notice the biggest red hue is within browns...the brown either come out green or red, Any help that any photographers can provide will be much appreciated.

I think that my dad abuses our family dog?

so me and my dad have been arguing over this pretty much every time it comes up. For example today, the dog jumps up on the table and eats 2 raw hamburgers. My dad then runs over to him after I get him off of the counter, take his body (he is a golden retreiver btw) slap is butt so that it makes a hard sound, during this my dog is starting to try to get away then throws him outside and down the stairs (which is about 4 steps steep). Then he goes inside and gets some soap and squirts it in his mouth. I hate it when he does this and it is not the first time he has done something like it. this scars me and makes myself and the rest of my family feel bad for the dog. While my dad is at work my dog (teddy) will still jump up on the counter, and try to get food, but when this happens we will just spray him with some water or bitter apple spray. i know we (myself, mom, brother and sister) are at fault as well for not following through with his punishment but my point is just that my dads approach is not succesfull (because he has continued to jump up) yet he believes it is. My dad thinks that it is ok for our dog to be afraid of him, whereas i think he should respect him. Do you think what my dad is doing is okay??

I have stained my deck before. After 2 years, it had a lot of green mold growing from a very wet spring. I cleaned it thoroughly with soap and water, scrubbing and then a spray on deck cleaner. I had planned just to use water seal, but the cleaning removed some of the stain. I applied the same stain with sealer that I used before. I have a clear water sealer that I would like to put over top to protect the deck. It takes a lot of sun in areas and the spring can be very wet. Can I put a water sealer over a stain? I had this problem many years ago. So I went down to my local marine suppliers and bought myself a small stainless steel sink complete with hand pump. Then bought a kitchen base unit ,small section of worktop, cut a hole in the top ,dropped in the sink, fitted hand pump. Then in the base unit, put in 2 containers, one for freshwater, the other for waste. I also fitted casters to the base unit enabling me to position it anywhere in the room. The small sink came with a flexible hose which went straight into the waste container. The hand pump also came with flexible holes which went in to the fresh water container. Also fitted door to base unit, which made for a neat and tidy piece of equipment. Hope this helps.

I hate those auto flush toilets, I was just srayed by some digusting toilet water. Eughh. Speaking of auto flush toilets, to think about it they waste electricity using a sensor to detect motion, I was just in a bathroom where EVERYTHING was automatic, the paper towel dispensers, the sinks, the soap dispensers, the blow dryers, the toilets and even the lights. Think about the fact that all these things have a sensor to detect motion; a sensor that's wasting electrictity when it's not in use. Besides the fact that auto-everything is for lazy people and it's so inconveint, the toilets flush when your on them, take more than one flush, u have to use more than the soap and paper towel dispensors give u in one dispense. And the auto sinks barely give u a sqiurt of water before u have to wave ur hands or find some way to reactivate the water, so inconvient and it takes electricity to re-heat the water. Lastly auto lights in a bathroom? Really? So the lights turn off mid dump and u have to wipe in the dark. Jeez whats wrong with the world today and saving money everywhere?! Liberalist freaks. So my dad and his wife have two labs which they leave outside during the day while they are at work. I live somewhere else so I only see the dogs about a couple times a month. Every time I go over there, I let them in because they want to be inside. One of them hates being left alone outside! He likes it outside, only when people are with him. He sleeps all day and prefers to do that in an air conditioned house and on the couch. I know this cause the only time I can get him outside is if I drag him or stay out there with him but as soon as I come in he pushes me out of the way to make sure I don't leave him out. It doesn't matter the weather, he always wants to be inside during the day. Sometimes after them being inside for 8 hours, I come home and feed them and he wont go outside! He'd rather hold it all day inside than be out. The other dog doesn't really care as long as she is with him and not alone. They do have water (though most of the time it doesn't look very clean) and beds in the shade. I don't even think my dads wife has even washed their dog bowls with soap. It's disgusting. One time their bowl had a little bit of non clean water from the day before and my dad went to pour it out and his wife actually told him not too and to just fill it. Wtf? The only times they get washed and get clean water is when I do it. Which isn't much since I'm not over there that often. Whenever I tell them it's too hot outside/too cold out or to just leave them inside because they want to be in I always get the same response "they're dogs, they like it outside". I just don't really see the point in leaving them out, they never go to the bathroom in the house, they don't make a mess, all they do is lay on the couch. My dad's family is just obsessed with the dogs not being inside. They don't like dogs which is the reason. Every time I'm home alone and someone shows up the first thing they say is "why are the dogs inside" It just makes no sense to me. I have a one and a half year old cat. He also likes to knock over one of my fans every other night, but this morning he finally broke it. He likes to climb on everything, including the fridge. Worried about my lip ring please help :(?

English bulldog question?

I have a Female English bulldog I bought a couple months ago. She is a little over a year and Mostly all white. I give her baths about once a week with some awesome dog shampoo I get from Petsmart. I am just not comfortable with sticking soap all over her face in the wrinkles and by her eyes so I am wondering if there is something I can put on a wash rag and use to clean her face that wont hurt her or burn her eyes and will get the dirt and tear stains out. How do you get dried ink out of an HP Photosmart printer?

My HP Photosmart printer will print photos, but they come out green. I have replaced all ink cartridges and cleaned the printer head, but the magenta ink isn't coming out...someone told me there could be dried ink between the cartridge and printer head.
